Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM DONALD EVERETT April 8, 1934 - September 30, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Donald Everett of Berens River, Manitoba, on September 30, 2011, at the age of 77 years. William was born in Berens River on April 8, 1934, and worked numerous jobs during his lifetime. He was a Deacon, caretaker for the school, worked for Manitoba Hydro, was a guard, probation officer, trapper and did a lot of carpentry work. He loved to read his Bible. William was predeceased by his parents, Alice and John James Everett; his sister Lizzie Butcher; his brothers, Morden, Kenneth and John Edward Jr. William leaves to mourn, his wife Therese; his children, Linda, Madeline, Wallace (Marla), Morden (Nancy), Colleen (Charlton), Alice, Frances (Lorraine), Viola (Anthony), Veronica (Randy), Carla (Robin), Ray (Michelle) and Sabrina (Marvin); 52 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. They also raised numerous children, Jackie Everett, The Greens, Kelsey McKay and many more; he also leaves many nieces and nephews. Wake services will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to midnight at the Blessings Community Church, 621 College Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Services will continue on Monday, October 3, 2011, and Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Berens River. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Berens River United Church, with Rev. Roy Bouchie officiating. Interment will follow at Berens River Community Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Lodge and Concordia Hospital ICU, as well as the Berens River First Nation for their support during this time.
