ALBERT ARTHUR DESJARLAIS February 14, 1961 September 28, 2011 While visiting the mountains of Banff, AB, our beloved Albert passed away peacefully following a lengthy battle with cancer. We are comforted in the knowledge that his brother, Marcel and nephew, Nathan were with Albert at the time of his passing. Albert's determination and optimism was an inspiration to those who knew and loved him. Albert will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Rose; brothers, Marcel, Harold (Anita); sisters, Charlene, Celeste (Tom); numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Albert was predeceased by his father, Albert; sister, Janet; nephew, Daniel; grandparents, George and Alice Boucher, and Joseph and Clara Desjarlais, and many other relatives. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Cancer Care Manitoba for their compassion and care of Albert. A special thank you to Pierson's Funeral Service Ltd. in Calgary, Valley Victim Services in Banff, and Banff Mineral Springs Hospital, for their compassion, support and profession-alism during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St. in St. Boniface, on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers donations in Albert's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0B9.
