ELEANOR MARGARET BRENNAN 1921 - 2011 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Eleanor Brennan on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the age of 90. Eleanor is predeceased by her son Keith Vincent Brennan, her parents; Llewellyn and Margaret Livingston and her two brothers; Gordon and Lorne. She is survived by her daughter Shelagh (Raymond) Synchyshyn, two grandchildren; Dallas (Rachel) and Kelli (two great-grandchildren; Marquez and Kaezon), daughter-in-law Joyce Brennan, two sisters Doreen (Bill) Clarke and Lorna Miner as well as many nieces and nephews. After returning from her time of service in Women's Army Corp., Ellie was employed by Eaton's for many years. Following her retirement Ellie kept active with the Age and Opportunity Walking Club, Eaton's Retirement Club and at Riverside Lion's Estates. She also loved to travel through Europe with one of her favourite stops being Ireland. When she could no longer travel internationally, she and her pals took to travelling to various casino's throughout North America. A graveside service will be held at Thompson in the Park on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their compassionate care over the last three months.
