LAWRENCE (NOOK) BONWICK September 8, 1948 September 27, 2011 With great sadness the family announces the passing of Lawrence Nook' Bonwick on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Thompson, MB. Nook is survived by his wife Sheila; daughter Cynthia (John); grandson's David and Evan; son Derek; daughter Morgan (Frank); brothers, Lloyd (Marion), Allen, Don (Shelley), Rick (Phyllis); sisters, Violet (Eugene) Syrotiuk, Jean, Loretta (Doug) Meisner along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Doris Guitard. Nook was predeceased by his parents George and Nahamia; brothers Walter, Murray and Angus; sister Grace Meisner and father-in-law Ed. A celebration of Nook's life will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ashern Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Ashern United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lawrence's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
