EDOUARD DESORCY August 22, 1930 October 4, 2011 Surrounded by the love of his family, Edouard Desorcy left to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at the end of 81 years. Ed will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 52 years, Emilia Milly and three children; Marc (Debbie), Joanne (Ron) Gerardy and Denise (Scott) Kinsman, his 13 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He also leaves behind his three sisters, Sr. Bernadette Desorcy, Sr. Florence Desorcy, Eugenie Kozielec, one brother George (Alice), two sisters-in-law Marianne Desorcy and Paulette DesRosiers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents Ubald and Alphonsine Desorcy, brothers Leonard and Gerard, sisters Gertrude, Ida and Irene, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. M. Duerksen, Dr. Reimer, the nursing staff at the Bethesda Steinbach Hospital, Dr. Roy, the nursing staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital and the wonderful Palliative Care Team as well as all the friends and relatives who gave their love, prayers and support during this difficult time. At Ed's wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Celebration of Edouard's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Ave., Ste. Anne, MB.
