HELEN MRYGLOD Sandra, Allan and Debbie are saddened at the passing of their beloved Mother, Helen (nee Blaschuk) on October 5, 2011. Her journey through life commenced on August 4, 1922 in the Point Douglas area of Winnipeg. She attended Norquay School. As a young woman she met our Dad, Joseph (May 25, 1918 - January 1, 1985) and together they began their new journey, which included extending their family to five. Her road had many trials and tribulations - but she never waivered. The last years were challenging as she underwent Hemodialysis. She chose to remain in her own home and was very proud of her accomplishments in life. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Ewdokia and her sisters Victoria Blaschuk and Lena Mykytyn. Surviving is her brother, Alex (Sonny), many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, and their extended families, also the last matriarch of the Marchuk family Auntie Lena Symynyshen. But most of all she will be missed by the family which she bestowed equal and unconditional love, Debbie and Brian Berezuk, Allan and Judy Mryglod, Sandra and Don Lang. Baba to Brad Lang and Kathy Karl, Bryan Lang and Julie Stewart, Garrett Mryglod and Stephanie Vincent, Adam Berezuk, and granddaughter Chelsea Berezuk and Trevor Perrault. Great Baba to Levi and Lexi Lang. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11 at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Avenue with Fr. L. Ratushniak, C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers are her five grandchildren and her nephew Ken Sawchuk. Special thanks to Dr. Manish Sood, and all Doctors and care givers at St. Boniface Hospital, primarily the Hemodialysis Unit. The family appreciated Home Care Personnel, especially Linda who provided compassionate care and assistance to our Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital, Renal Health/Hemodialysis Unit. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
