JEREMY LLOYD MINTY Jeremy was born on July 9, 1971. He excelled in school and had a keen mind for science and electronics. Jeremy enjoyed bike riding, swimming, football and hockey. He loved going on family vacations and as a nature lover, enjoyed spending time in parks. However, five years of undiagnosed Lyme disease left him fighting for his life. His struggle to survive went on for many years. On October 7, 2011 Jeremy lost his last fight to cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Effie. He is survived by his father Lloyd; brother Merlyn; sister Angela; a niece Lauren; and two nephews, Jack and Mattias. Jeremy yearned for the day when no resident will say, I am sick. . The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital and Riverview Health Centre. They would also like to thank all the friends who supported them through phone calls, emails, cards and personal visits. A private funeral service will be held by invitation only.
