GLADYS PEARL (SMITH) HUGHES (nee JORDAN) 1920 - 2011 On Friday October 7, 2011, at Pembina Manitou Health Centre, Gladys Hughes, aged 91 years of Manitou, MB, went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband R. George Hughes; two daughters, Leona Smith and Norleen (Jim) Wilson; three sons, Garry (Heather) Smith, Keith Smith and Syd (Jan) Smith; as well as 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Smith (1974), one sister and five brothers Memorial service will be held on Thursday October 13, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church, 338 Hamilton St. Manitou, MB. A private interment will be held at the New Haven Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory may be made to the Parkinson Society Manitoba.
