ISABEL CAMERON PETRIE (nee STEPHEN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the age of 77. Isabel was predeceased by David, her husband of 50 years, her brothers Bob, Bill, John and Donald, as well as her two sisters Elma and Jean. Left to cherish Isabel's memory are her children: son Stephen; daughters Diana and Heather (Bruce) Ironside; honorary children Kelli and Gary Clarke; her grandchildren Alexis, Briann and Lindsay, and honorary grandchildren Jennifer and Devin Clarke. She is also survived by her brothers James and Gordon, along with many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at the Victoria General Hospital for all their efforts and care. A memorial reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Kidney Foundation or a charity of their choice.
