Francesco was predeceased by his parents Giacomo and Giuseppina, and by the love of his life, his wife Domenica Cammarata. He will be sadly missed by his son Giacomo and daughter-in-law Gracie, his daughter Giuseppina and son-in-law Salvatore Macaluso, his brothers Antonio (Kittie) and Michele (Dayle) and sisters Grazia (Sebastiano), Maria (Filippo) and Enza (Liberato). He also leaves to mourn his beautiful grandchildren which he adored, Caylene, Marisa, Macayla and Giordano, along with many nephews, nieces, relatives and close friends. Francesco was born on December 12, 1938 in Villarosa, Sicily. He came to Canada on April 25, 1957 and shortly after that met his wife Domenica and they were married on August 25, 1962 in Belgium. They then came back to Canada and started a new life and family together in Winnipeg. Francesco worked many faithful years for Winnipeg Supply as a truck driver. He was proud to have been the last fuel oil truck driver in Winnipeg in which he retired shortly thereafter. He was a man with great dedication who loved his family, and did everything for them. He was a father who always made sure his family was well cared for and made sure they lacked nothing. He was loved by everyone he met and was a loyal friend to those he developed friendships with. Francesco will also be remembered for his humour and ability to always make you laugh. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Flowers may be sent to Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street.
