CLAIRE HEBERT 1919 - 2011 On October 8, 2011 Claire passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg just days short of her 92nd birthday. Born in Laurier Manitoba she was predeceased by her parents, brothers Fred, Ernie and sister Lynne. She is survived by her sisters Bernadette, Dahlia and her brother George as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Claire began her lengthy career doing domestic work in Laurier and the surrounding area. In 1943, she journeyed to Winnipeg and joined the Canadian Army, serving the force until August 1946. After her discharge, she was briefly employed in the Winnipeg retail industry. Following the 1950 flood, she was employed by the Province of Manitoba until she started her 33 years of service with the Manitoba Telephone System. She retired from MTS in June 1984. Flowers are gratefully declined. Individuals wishing to do so, may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
