DENISE MARION June 10, 1920 - October 8, 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surrounded by her family, our Mom passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Foyer Valade at the age of 91 years. Mom was predeceased by her husband Lucien (1978), a daughter Lucie (1949) and her son Olivier (Red) (May 24, 2011), her parents Elzéar and Anna Beaudoin, her brothers Onésime and Olivier and her sister Alice. She is survived by daughters, Lorette Rioux (Gilbert), Doris Girouard (Raymond), Gisèle Gauthier (Lionel), and son Marcel (Allison), 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mom leaves to mourn her sister Béatrice Kopytko, her sisters-in-law Agathe Gratton, Gisèle Marion, Lucie Marion, her brothers-in-law Armand Marion, Hervé Bernabé, Gilbert Fontaine, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was very loving and caring towards her family and friends. She would always offer her assistance when needed. She passed on her strong faith onto her children and thought us to be kind and forgiving. She loved to play bingo and go out with friends for supper. Mom enjoyed watching hockey and always cheered for her Toronto Maple Leafs and would call her sons to make a bet on the game. Mom had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all. The Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Foyer Valade Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care in making our Mother's last days as comfortable as possible. To celebrate her life a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2:00 p.m., in the St. Norbert Catholic Church, 80 rue St. Pierre Street, St. Norbert, Manitoba.
