Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE M. ROSSIER (née SIMARD) After a long illness, Grace Rossier passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the age of 86 years. She had been residing at the Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie for the last three years. Grace was predeceased by her husband Edmond Rossier in 2009, after 43 years of married life. She was also predeceased by her parents Eugene and Dora Simard, by two brothers René and Laurent, one sister Lucie, one sister-in-law Cécile Rossier and her guardians for many years Virginie and Cyrers McNulty from Rainy River, Ontario. Grace met Edmond Rossier, they married in 1968 at the St. Boniface Cathedral. They chose to live on a farm near St. Lupicin for quite a few years of success and happiness. Our sister Grace always kept good memories as a teacher in different states and mostly in Rainy River, Ontario area. She was an avid reader and kept informed on Canadian politics, currents events and hockey. She leaves behind 10 siblings: Lionel, Solange, Alix, Thérèse, Rose, Marie, Elaine (Léo), Gerard (Lucille), Elizabeth and Yolande (Guy), as well as five sisters-in-law: Hélène Simard, Florence Simard, Gisele Vandel, Isabelle (Léon) St. Godard and Thérèse Arbez, two brothers-in-law Paul Rossier and Medard Rossier, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass will be held in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing prior to Mass with Father Eric Giddins officiating. Interment in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326. www.afh.ca
