SIMONE DUPASQUIER (née BELLEC) On Monday October 10, 2011 at the Portage General Hospital surrounded by family, Simone (née Bellec) was freed from her pain and suffering at the age of 61 years. She leaves to mourn her husband, Kelly, her three children Lennon (Caroline), Bradley, Marina, her three grandchildren, Whitney, Aaron, Zachary, her mother Adele, sister Madeleine, two brothers Robert (Francine), Michel (Monique), mother-in-law Mary, two sisters-in-law Diane and Carol (Ron), niece Sherri, and three nephews Blaine, Nathan, and Marcus. She was predeceased by her father Albert, father-in-law Jean, and brother-in-law Denis. Simone served her community for almost 30 years as Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of St. Claude. She enjoyed her work and everyday interactions with the people of St. Claude. Ill health forced an early and far too brief retirement. She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and community. Those closest to her will always remember her sharp wit, kind heart, and sense of humor. Thank you to the palliative care nurses and staff at the Portage General Hospital. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating.
