MARGARET HILDA SCRIMGEOUR (nee PORTER) June 12, 1916 - October 12, 2011 Peacefully, Margaret passed away at the Lions Place Personal Care Centre at the age of 95. She will be lovingly remembered by her son William Bailey Scrimgeour; sisters Barbara Russell of Lethbridge and Jane Doyle of Richmond, BC, as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband George in 1995 and younger son Allan in 1989. She worked as a Registered Dietician and also a Home Economics Teacher. She loved to square dance, was a good cook and loved to sew. Margaret sewed many square dancing outfits. One of her passions was growing African Violets. The service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home.
