Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDEBORAH JOY LORD (HAMM) March 14, 1959 - October 11, 2011 It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Deborah at the age of 52 years. She was predeceased by her father John Hamm and husband Nicholas Benjamin. She is survived by her mother Grace Hamm; husband Erskine; and best friends and sisters, Diane and Wendy (Wayne); children, Robyn (Richard), Landon, Donovan and Brooklynn; MaMa (Grandma) to Piper and Sawyer, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and stepchildren, Mandy, Vernon and family. Deb will be remembered most for her loving and caring nature, her willingness to always lend a helping hand, her zest for living life to the fullest, her extraordinary and witty sense of humour, as well as her unconditional love for her pets. Deb loved her job with EAP, Manitoba Blue Cross where she made numerous friendships. We celebrate her life, mourn her death, and remain grateful for her role in our lives and all that she meant to each one of us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Royal Bank of Canada Branch in trust for Brooklynn Benjamin or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Memorial Service will take place Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. A private interment will follow at a later date. Happy 54th Birthday Mom! I enjoyed our visit this morning. We will be celebrating with Jeannies cakes and lots of wonderful memories. Think of you every day and feel you around us. Piper asked this morning if you were ever coming back from Heaven. It broke her little heart when I had to say no, but gave her comfort to know that one day, a long time from now, she will again reunite with her "Mamma" I Love you too much all the time.
