Jeanette met life's challenges with engaging determination, savouring the joyous moments and accepting its disappointments with positivity. We will miss her wit and cheerful laughter. The sparkling eyes and warm reassuring smile will forever be with the entire family and everyone who came to know her. The wonderful gift of so many cherished memories will sustain us all as we continue life's journey. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Palliative care. Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Your love has given me the joy of sharing and the beautiful tenderness of caring. My life and love began the day I found you. I'm wondering if this might be the Jeanette Cuthbert of St. James (Winnipeg), Manitoba that I knew as a teenager that I worked with at the Dairy Queen in St. James around 1960. Her father was in the RCAF in St. James and she may have had a brother born in 1954 that died, I think, in 2019 in the Winnipeg area. I have very fond memories of Jeanette; my wife Marie and I visited Jeanette when we and she were newly married, Jeanette had a daughter at the time, in her apartment on Portage Ave. sometime around 1967 and I would like to hear more about her life.
