Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTRAUD (WALLA, WALLY) LANGE Waltraud Lange passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital after suffering a major heart attack. Walla was born in Brandenburg, Germany on April 3, 1928 and came to Canada with her husband Rudy in 1953. She was predeceased by husband Rudy in 1995, sister-in-law Irmgard, brother-in-law Paul and niece Inga - all of Winnipeg. Walla was employed for many years with McLeod's. Walla was a very special lady and made an impression on all those she met. Walla had a heart of gold and lived life to the full and no one, but no one was going to deny her that. Walla loved to travel, took an avid interest in championship tennis and the world in general. There wasn't much that escaped Walla's comment or opinion! Walla is survived by her only sister Ingrid Kortmeyer (Berlin, Germany), nephew Ernie Tashe (Winnipeg), and nieces Christine, Elke and Michaela (all of Germany). Walla will be greatly missed by many special friends: Wanda, David and Justin, Stephen and Darryl (Ottawa), Trautchen, Wally, Olga, John, Jeanette and Craig and Emma (Aurora), to name just a few. At Walla's request, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
