Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGILBERT RONALD (GIL) TYTGAT October 15, 1947 - October 12, 2011 Gil passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the age of 63. Gil was a selfless man who dedicated his life to the community. He was a volunteer hockey coach for numerous years, helping shape the lives of several young men. He was loved and admired by all who met him. Family was his true passion. His love for children was indescribable. Gil will be dearly missed by loving wife Kelly Vok, his son David (Karen) Tytgat, granddaughter Amelie Tytgat, David's mother Jacqueline Belanger, mother Juliette Tytgat, sister Patricia (Mel) Berdard, brother Ray (Gisele) Tytgat, stepson Mark Vok and several nieces and nephews. Gil was predeceased by his father Eugene Tytgat and sister Jacqueline Tytgat. The Memorial Service for Gil will take place Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Delisle, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gil's memory can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home, (306) 244-5577.
