WILLIAM (BILL) MORRIS 1936 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce his passing, at the age of 75 on October 3, 2011. Husband to Patti and father of Jeffrey (Ara), Marshall (Marlo) and Charles (Cindee). He will be missed by grandchildren, Harlan, Emma, Sarah, Tyson and Stephanie. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Dora. Bill was born August 4, 1936 and raised in Fort Frances, Ontario. His family moved to Winnipeg in 1952. He attended St. John's High School. Bill worked at Canada Safeway, while putting himself through school at United College where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts. He then obtained his Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees from the University of Manitoba. He began his teaching career in Boissevain, Manitoba and taught for 36 years in the Seven Oaks School Division at Jefferson Junior High, Garden City Collegiate, West Kildonan Collegiate and Maples Collegiate from which he retired. He also taught Driver's Education in the Seven Oaks School Division. He met his wife Patti in 1963. They married in 1964 and shared 46 years together. Bill enjoyed spending time with his children and grand-children as they were his pride and joy. Funeral services were held on October 5 at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, Winnipeg with interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
