JESSICA HELEN BORGER 1925 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jessica Helen Borger (nee Chatfield) on October 7, 2011, at Grace Hospital at the age of 86 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jessica was predeceased by her mother Ada and father Sydney; husband Donald Borger; and sister Betty O'Connor. Mom leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Candace (Barry), son Mark (Donna), son Gary, daughter Barbara, and her grandchildren Alexandre (Claire) and Solène. Also her sister Olive (Tom) Atkins and brother Mel (Helen) Chatfield, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom enjoyed frequent trips to Las Vegas and Scottsdale, Arizona during the winter months. Mom was also an avid reader. She took pleasure in watching the latest movies and spending quality time with her family. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Grace Hospital and the River Park Gardens Personal Care Home, for all their care and compassion. A private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jessica to a charity of your choice. The Magic of a Mother's Touch There's magic in a Mother's touch, and sunshine in her smile. There's love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage Just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, her works are warm and wise.
