JOHN CYRIL TWELLS 1917 - 2011 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of John Cyril Twells on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the age of 93. Cyril is predeceased by his wife, Myrtle; his parents, John Edward and Elizabeth Twells; sisters, Florence, Gorgeina and Doris; brothers, William and Russell; and son-in-law, Keith V. Brennan. He is survived by his son, Gerald; daughter, Joyce Brennan; sisters, Elsie Prior, Ivy (John) Davison, Christina (Bob) Penny; brother, Alfred (Maxine); as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Grace Hospital and the E.M.S. responders for their compassionate care.
