Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD EDWARD BURGESS Peacefully with his family by his side, Harold passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at the age of 78. Harold will be missed by his wife, Eileen; daughters, Brenda and Kelly; son-in-law, Lindsay; granddaughters, Nicole, Jennifer and Natalie; four great-grandchildren; step-sons, Allan, Daryl (Wendy), Scott, Todd (Tammy); three step-grandsons. Harold is survived by his siblings, Jacky, Shirley, Bonnie, Wayne, Barb and Richard; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings; Helene, Gail, baby brother, Debbie, Janet, Bobby; his parents, Winona and Harold; and first wife Del. Harold was born in Brunkild, but lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He was the eldest of 13 and helped support his family early on. He worked for the C.N.R. for 33 years. Harold made his presence known wherever he was. He was a family man who took care of everyone. Dad loved to hunt, fish, golf, curl and travel. He especially loved going on cruises and road trips. He was an avid photographer. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Special thanks to Dr. George Borret and the staff on 3 South at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice.
