ISABELLA BIRT MINTY (nee ALSOP) 1921 - 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Isabella Minty aged 90 years on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Tabor Home in Morden, MB. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Beverley and Norval Spangelo of Morden; three sons, Donald and Sonja Minty of Winnipeg, Jim and Sandy Minty of Morden, Ken and Bobbi Minty of Carman as well as three grandchildren, Scott, Brian and Tammy, Kevin and Hayley, three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Abigail and Benjamin, brother, Donald and Arlene Alsop of Powell River, BC, brothers-in-law, Don Georgison of Thunder Bay, ON, Les Patterson of Winnipeg, sister-in-law, Irene Alsop of Morden, step-granddaughter, Sheri McInnis, stepgrandsons, Tyler and Zakery as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Minty (1989), three sisters, Emma Georgison, Gladys Patterson, Margaret Reichert, one brother, Douglas Alsop, brother-in-law, Ed Reichert, nephew, Bill Reichert and uncle, Jimmy Mackie. There will be no public viewing. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden with interment at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Isabella's memory to either the Alzheimer Society or Tabor Home, available at the chapel.
