EDWARD (TED) ALEXANDER SIMPSON Edward (Ted) Alexander Simpson, born February 5, 1929 in Silver Creek Municipality, Manitoba, passed away October 15, 2011 at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is predeceased by his wife Maryann. He is survived by his children, Roy (Bev), Linda (Dan), Bill (Theresa), Denise, Debbie, Shirley-Ann (Shawn) and Brenda-Lea; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Dad's life will be held at Lauder, Manitoba on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lauder Hall with lunch to follow. A private family interment will take place at a future date in Silverton, Manitoba as per Dad's wishes. The family thanks the staff at the Grace Hospital for their care of Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lauder Inn.
