RON LYNCH It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Ron Lynch on Monday, October 17, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his son Joshua and parents Pat and Marjorie Lynch, mother and father-in-law George and Norma Cowan and brother-in-law George Cowan. He was survived by his loving wife Brenda and son Sean (Liz) sister Pat (Neil), brothers Jim (Donna), Wayne (Marlene), Gary (Leslie), brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was employed at Burns Foods for 30 years. He was a very active and longtime member of the Transcona Kinsmen club. He took great pride in coaching his son's hockey teams. In his retirement Ron spent many hours reading in his gazebo, tending to his tomato plants, playing cards and Dominoes and coffee dates with family and friends. He was loved by all he met There will never be another Ron Special thanks to Drs. Daeninck, Garcia, St. Godard and St. Boniface palliative care team. Also a big thanks to our support system. At the family's request cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ron's life will take place Friday, October 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West, Winnipeg, MB, and a private family interment at a later date.
