SOLANGE (SALLY) SMITH Sally passed away peacefully on October 15, 2011. She was born in St. Jean-Baptiste to Victor and Leoda Gregoire. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Eugene Smith on February 11, 1997, brothers Armand and Leo predeceased her and also sisters Germaine and Denise. She is survived by her son Robert of Winnipeg and daughter Sharron Lyzun (Daniel) of Vancouver, BC; she is also survived by grandchildren Quinn Timothy Lyzun (Karen) of Boston, MA, Jamey Lyzun (Elisa) of Las Angeles, CA, Samantha Lyzun of Vancouver, BC and precious great-grandson baby Sawyer Lyzun of Boston who was born on October 15, 2010. Sally is also survived by her sister Cecile Barttlett and brother Gerry Gregoire, her sister-in-law Dolores Green and closest friend Agnes Kasprick, also numerous nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member of St. Peter's Church and C.W.L. for 56 years. Mum devoted her life to her faith, family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011, with Father Kevin Smith celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, CancerCare Manitoba, or St. Peter's Church.
