LESLIE WAYNE FRIESEN July 9, 1949 - October 13, 2011 Peacefully with his family at his bedside, Leslie Wayne Friesen passed away on October 13, 2011. He is survived by his son Brad and Brad's mom Aline, mother Betty, brothers Eldon, Ryan (Angela), Don (Amy), nieces Kathlyn, Michelle and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his first mom Elizabeth Friesen and father Dave L. Friesen. Les was born and raised on a farm near Morris, MB. In 1973 he married Aline Champagne and together they had a son. Les held numerous jobs over his adult years. Most of his working ventures were self employment. He was especially proud of his Bachelor of Commerce degree. It gave his self esteem a real boost. He was also very proud of his private pilot's license. Les' main interests were sports, especially hockey, baseball and football (you name it). He really enjoyed water skiing at Betula Lake and racing at The Winnipeg Speedway. A celebration of his life will be held on October 22 at Rosenort E.M.C. Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army. Rest in Peace Dad, I will miss you always. Love, Brad
