Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE BARTEL (nee DUECK) 1933 - 2011 On Monday, October 17, 2011 at Victoria General Hospital, Anne Bartel, aged 78 years of Winnipeg, MB, formerly of Morden, went to her eternal rest. Anne married Elmer Bartel in 1956 and was a well known nurse in Neepawa and Winkler for many years. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Elmer Bartel of Winnipeg; two daughters, Debra and John Loewen of Morden, Cheryl and Robert Davies of Thompson; one son, Sheldon and Cheryl Bartel of Winnipeg, as well as four grandchildren, seven brothers and three sisters. She was predeceased by three brothers. Viewing will be on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden with interment following at 11:45 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church, 201 Scurfield Blvd. in Winnipeg.
