TERRENCE EARL REAGH July 4, 1945 - October 17, 2011 Sadly we announce the passing of Terry Reagh on Monday, October 17, 2011. Terry had a brief but ferocious battle with stomach cancer and was fortunate enough to be blessed with a peaceful passing while surrounded by his family. Terry recently celebrated his 47th wedding anniversary to his loving wife and best friend, Sylvia. Also surviving his passing are, his daughters, Jana (Robert), Lauralee (Brad), and Debra (Robin). He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael), Evan, Ryan, Kayli and Jesse. Papa loved each and every one of them deeply. Also remembering him are, his sister and brother-in-law Annette and Bob Boucher, his brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Pat Reagh along with his brother-in-law, Walter Brown. He had so many special people in his life, including friends and extended family. He took pride in being called Uncle Terry by many nieces and nephews as well, both biological and honorary. Terry spent a good portion of his working life working as a bus driver for Winnipeg Transit. Following his retirement, he realized he was far too young to live the retired life so began working as a Napa delivery driver. This was far more than a menial delivery job because like everything Terry did, he did it with a serious work ethic with the high level of commitment that he came to expect from everyone else. More important than his commitment to his work, was his commitment to his family. He was a father figure for his eldest granddaughter and the best darn hockey and ringette Papa to all his other grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up as much as he did his daughters of whom he was so proud. He took much pride in knowing that he had a hand in fostering such a loving, closely-knit family unit. A huge part of his life was sharing his gift of music through barbershop singing. His strong and melodic lead voice will be so greatly missed by his quartet as well as the Golden Chordsmen Chorus. Terry's kind and gentle spirit was one that touched the lives of too many to mention in so many different ways. We will all remember how he put everyone else's needs before his own and how he lived by the Golden Rule do unto others as you would have done to you. He has left a special legacy full of love. It is our job now to continue to live life to its fullest, love each other and laugh often, just as Terry did. We will celebrate Terry's life on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Drive. If people so choose, donations in Terry's honour can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Buhler Cancer Centre (Victoria Hospital) and can be specifically allocated to research on stomach cancer, if desired. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Daeninck as well as the caring staff at the Buhler Cancer Centre. Thank you to all who supported the family through prayers and kind gestures and a special thanks to David and Debbie, Annette and Bob, Gordon and Pat, for their loving support in the final days of Terry's life. The pain has ended....peace to you Terry. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
