Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIAS FRANCISCO DATU 1923 2011 With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our husband and father, Elias Datu, on Monday, October 18, 2011, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Elias is survived by his loving wife Isabel, children Virgilio (Zenaida), Rodelio (Rosario), Flordeliza (Matt), Estrella (Patrick), Ernani (Jane), Melinda (Ed); grandchildren Rina, Gay, Ryan, Jasmin, Jennilyn, Allison, Aimee, Grace, Shaun, Garyl, Angelia, Iris, Desiree, Clarisse; great-grandchildren RR, Karen, Renzel, Nana, Jade and Jathan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elias was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and moved to Winnipeg in 1984. He was a member of the Ofsam Filipino Seniors Club. Elias loved to dance and listen to music, was a very gentle quiet man, who loved his family very much. Lamay will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2011, and Sunday, October 24, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua, 250 Burrin Avenue with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
