Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS JOSEPHINE TRICKETT (nee FORD) December 11, 1918 - October 15, 2011 It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother Phyllis Trickett. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Brian of Sperling, Manitoba and Ronald (Marilyn) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; grandsons, Brian (Carlaw), Dwayne (Audrey) and Phillip (Shannon); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; niece Lois (Bob) Horner; nephews, Angus (Cathy) Ford and Frank (Penny) Ford. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ethel Ford; husband Thomas Trickett; her brother John (Marge) Ford; and daughters-in-law, Irene and Dorothy Trickett. Phyllis was born in Wiltshire, England and settled in the Eden area with her family. She married Thomas and they farmed in the Eden area until they retired to Neepawa. Phyllis belonged to the United Church and was a life member of the UCW. She was involved in the community, especially curling. She was an avid reader. Sincere thanks to Country Meadows Personal Care Home staff and volunteers for the kindness shown to our Mom. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in White's Funeral Chapel, 271 Mountain Ave., Neepawa, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Country Meadows Personal Care Home, P.O. Box 1240, Neepawa, Manitoba R0J 1H0. White's Funeral Home, Neepawa, MB in care of arrangements (204) 476-2848.
