OLGA WILLIAMS Olga Williams passed away peacefully at Tudor House, Selkirk on October 8, 2011. Her husband, Stephen Williams, in 1997, predeceased her. She will be forever missed by her son Herb (Louise); grandchildren, Dawn (Les), Hugh (Vera); and great-grandchild Alexander. Mom was very proud of her grandchildren. Dawn (veterinarian), Hugh (professional engineer) and Alexander (great-grandchild) will be a legacy to both Mom and Dad. She got to hold Alexander and they smiled at each other. A private funeral service was held at Gilbart Funeral Home with interment in St. Clements Cemetery, Selkirk, next to Dad. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated. I would like to mention my appreciation to my wife, Louise who has been my rock throughout our ordeals. Louise accompanied me to Mom's visits and would always provide the right words when we were having difficulty finding them. She would make Mom's tears go away and be replaced with a smile, by giving one of her famous Louise hugs. I remember her final days when she was very weak and could barely speak, when Louise gave her a Louise hug and Mom smiled. The caregiver staff at Tudor House are truly angels. They displayed a professional, patient, compassionate attitude. To Heather, Joan, Janice, Dorothy, Madgil, Lenore, Sharon, Pat, Karen, Vi, Garth, Dr. Lindenschmidt, Dr. Demas and especially Laura and Werner, thank you.
