ROY YACKEL It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Roy Yackel on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Concordia Hospital with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife Nellie of 67 years, daughters Irene (Clare), Debbie (Wayne) and son Royce (Sharon), grandchildren Ryan (Keri), Andrea (Tom), Krystin (Billy), Lisa (Terry) and nine great-granddaughters Hanna, McKenna, Aliegha, Emily, Kara, Cailin, Melissa, Melanie and Meleana. Roy was predeceased by his brothers Bill, Ted, Albert and sisters Lena and Violet. A special thank you to the good neighbors especially Bill and Isabel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences Foundation's Dr. J. Embril, Research Unit or a charity of your choice. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment at a later date. We will miss you Dad And love you always.
