DORA WAGNER (nee LENOFF) With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Dora Wagner (nee Lenoff), who died peacefully at home on October 11, 2011. Dora was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Mitchell Wagner in 2008. She leaves to mourn her passing two children, Arne (Gail) and Shauna (Thomas), and three grandchildren, Laura, Ian and Amy. Throughout her life Dora treasured culture and education. In addition to being an avid concert and theatre-goer, she was active in the Jewish Women's Musical Club and Talmud Torah PTA, and thoroughly enjoyed her book club and bridge club. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, whom she took great pleasure visiting in California and Switzerland and showering with love, affection and wonderful cookies and pies. Interment took place on October 16, 2011 at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Rabbi Lawrence Pinsker officiating. Pallbearers were Thomas Braun, Ian and Michael Dudeck, Dr. Arnold Frohlich, David Shapera, Brian Hirsch, Dan Blankstein and Dan Bolton. Robert Lenoff was an honorary pallbearer. The family wish to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Tunji Fatoye for the excellent and compassionate care he provided to Dora. The family thanks Sandy of Health Authority and Lynne of Successful Aging for helping Dora live out her final years in comfort and dignity. We are also deeply grateful that Dora was able to continue enjoying her favourite things in life until the very end, thanks to the tireless efforts and affection of her caregivers, especially Joy, Biata, Cynthia, and most especially Chris.
