Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERESA KANOWICZ (formerly PIETKIEWICZ) October 22, 1928 - October 18, 2011 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Teresa Kanowicz on Tuesday, October 18 at the Victoria Hospital. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Sigmond Kanowicz and daughter Teresa Terrie' Thorsteinson. Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Elizabeth (Danny) Smith; grandchildren Alexandra and Patrick Smith, Heidi (David), Holly and Kristjan Thorsteinson; her only great-grandchild Allissa MacEachern; nephew Henry (Betty) Pietkiewicz along with their children Andrea (Colin) Funk and Tara (Neil) Crockford; niece Helen (Dom) Cerasani as well as their children Dina (Eddie) Gesualdo and Tony (Annie) Cerasani. Teresa had a wonderful and full life, followed by a very peaceful passing. We love you and will miss you very much. A few years have passed and still in shock. Sadly we lost contact after my grandfather passed away and wish it hadn't, especially once my mom Carol passed away (her stepdaughter).
