JOHN ROBERT TAGGART On Monday, October 17, 2011, John Robert Taggart of Whitemouth, Manitoba passed away tragically at the age of 79 years. John will be mourned, always loved and never forgotten by his sons, John (Audrey) of Medicine Hat and Ronald (Georgina) of Okotoks, AB; grandchildren, John, Michael, Tanis, Jason, Corey and Drew; great-grandchildren, Ava, Axton, Mylah, Beckham, Scarlett, Lexus, Cooper and Alexis; sister, Reta Aird of Winnipeg; nieces, nephews and beloved companion, Esther Bachman. Predeceased by parents, William and Rachel; sister, Margaret and brother, Bill. Dad had a very strong love for his family and was always there when you needed him. His sense of humour, generosity, charm, love of nature and life will be so dearly missed, along with his uncommon ability to approach anyone and make them laugh. Those who met Dad would agree that he was truly a real Irish character. Keep a smile on your face and love and laughter in your heart. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, on Thursday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment service to follow in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery with the Chaplain from the Winnipeg Fire Department officiating.
