RUSSELL WILLIAM ORR August 18, 1929 - October 21, 2011 After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Russell was predeceased by his loving wife Olive. He will be missed by his sister Marlene; sons Rodger, Douglas and Lloyd (Angie); daughter Colleen Rouse (Lyle); ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Besides lovingly caring for his wife and family, Russell enjoyed gardening, attending a variety of sporting events and was a collector and craftsman. He was employed by CN Express and companies for 38 years until his retirement. Having dedicated his life to serving Jehovah God in 1969, Russell was an active member of the West Kildonan Congregation and recently in the Lansdowne Congregation. We look forward to welcoming him back to life in the new world, where there will be no more sickness, tears, or death. We would like to thank long-time neighbours Debbie and Barry for taking such good care of our Dad since Mom's passing, as well as the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their kind and attentive care during the past few weeks. A funeral will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 937 Gateway Rd.
