WILHELMUS PETRUS VAN MIERLO 1933 - 2011 Peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2011, with his loving wife Corrie at his side, Bill passed away at the age of 78 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Corrie, son Adriaan (Judi), daughter Monica (Alan), grandsons Devon and Graham, brother Henk (Ellie) and sister Leis. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Kees and sisters Thall and Nel. Bill was born July 22, 1933, in the Netherlands and after marrying Corrie in 1958, they moved to Winnipeg and later to St. Eustache. For 53 years they shared a loving happy life together. Their home was always filled with warmth and laughter. Bill was always a hard worker at every job and around the house, but he always found time to make people laugh. In his retirement years he loved to spend time with his grandsons. He will be forever missed by all. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Red River Place Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk MB. Luncheon will follow.
