Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN ETHEL WILSON (nee TREMBATH) July 15, 1930 - October 23, 2011 Peacefully on October 23, 2011, and with her family at her side, Eileen Wilson passed away at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Fred Trembath, her sister Betty and her husband Ron. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Rowena Crosbie (Ted) of Earlham, Iowa, two sons Kevin (DeeDee) and Lewis (Karen) both of Winnipeg, granddaughters Kourtney, Brittny and Tera, grandsons Jonathan (Kelley) and Justin and her two brothers Dick and Bob (Sandie). Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews. Eileen was born and raised in Winnipeg. As a young woman, she ventured to jobs in Regina and Toronto and later returned to Winnipeg where she met and married her husband Ron in 1963. Ron and Eileen were married for 35 years until his passing in 1998. Her family was her top priority and her pride. She was always there with wisdom, compassion and kind deeds. Her sense of humour and common sense approach to living will be dearly missed. Her strong will and grace were a model for others and serve as a strength and comfort during this sad time. Eileen holds a special place in the hearts of a wide circle of family and friends and stories about her, her Irish temperament and her love of sports - especially the Bombers, Jets and Giants, will be shared with laughter and tears for many years to come. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1P6. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with Rev.
