HUGUETTE PINEAU (nee FILLION) 1937 - 2011 After a long and happy life filled with love and laughter, it is with deep sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, on October 23, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 74. She will be remembered with love by her three children Nicole (Ron) Ritchot, Gérald (Pamela) Pineau and Diane (Daniel) Dorge, as well as her grandchildren Danica and Joël (Ritchot), Jérémie and Chantale (Pineau), and Mélanie, Josée and Eric (Dorge). She also leaves to mourn her brothers Paul (Céline) and Ray (Iona), and brother-in-law Adelme (Louise). She was predeceased by her loving husband Fernand, her parents Ernest and Alma Fillion (Lambert), her sisters Dorothée and Blanche, and brothers Florent and Denis. She enjoyed gardening, baking, knitting, sewing and playing card games but, most importantly, she was passionate in spending quality time with her family at home and while camping, and treating the family pets. She took every opportunity to go to the cottage in Sandilands, and most recently, to spend time camping at Granite Hills. We will forever remember her joie de vivre, her laugh and her sense of humour. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the St-Boniface Cathedral. Private interment will take place at the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. We wish to extend a special thanks to family and friends for their support and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Huguette's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
