ELEANOR PATRICIA KINGERSKI (nee BACHEWICH) May 2, 1948 - October 24, 2011 After a life filled with much joy and laughter, it's with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Kingerski, on October 24, 2011. She joins in heaven her father Peter, and her dogs Kasee and Jenny. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Agnes, children Terri and Dale, son-in-law Colin, daughter-in-law Alison, grandchildren Ethan, Nyah, Chelsea and Carter, brothers Leonard (Bev) and Brian (Pam), cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Throughout her life, Eleanor found joy in her painting, flowers, watching the sunrise, baking and being the family party planner. Mom, you will be forever in our hearts. "There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and of unspeakable love." A special thank you goes out to Mom's home care workers, St. Boniface Hospital (staff on 5E), and the Palliative Care Unit (staff on 3E) at Riverview Health Centre. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, with a reception and private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, anyone so wishing may make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
