MASON With overwhelming sadness and heavy hearts, we share the news of our Dad, Richard's sudden passing at home, at the age of 62 on October 20, 2011. Left with cherished memories are his children: daughters, Carey-Ann (Michael) and Christine; and son Brian (Faye). His grand-children, Ryan, Kyle, Jessie Ann and Brayann; great-granddaughter Alanna. His Mom, Marion Mason and predeceased by his father, Melvin. His brothers and sisters, Pat (Ron), Alan (Joan), Ross (Sylvia), Joanne, Beverly (Ron), Cathy (Barry), Craig. Special nieces, Melissa, Jessica and Amanda - daughters of his best friend and brother, Ross. He was affectionately known by friends as Dickie. His much loved cats - Rocky and Rollie. He will be remembered for his caring heart, risqué humour, love of gardening, time at the lake, and his willingness to help anyone at anytime with anything. Our Dad, was Brian's hero, he was everything to him and breaks his heart to know he will never see him again. Christine also shared the special bond of being Daddy's little girl, and will always need him. He will always be "my Daddy" to Carey-Ann and "Papa" to his grandchildren. " Love you too, Dad." We are respecting his wishes by not having a funeral, but the family will be having an afternoon remembrance Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at First Nations Community Church - 44 Tentler Street.
