CECILE PATENAUDE (nee LAVIGNE) Peacefully on October 21, 2011, at her residence, Cecile Patenaude passed away at the age of 83 years. She is lovingly remembered by her five girls: Lucille, Pat (George), Doris, Dianne (Willy), Carol, sister Alice, three grandchildren: René, Dennis, David, five great-grandchildren: Jayden, Brianna, Kellen, Adilia, Vantadose, and special friend Roger. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Alexandre Patenaude in 2002, her parents Odilon and Alphonsine Lavigne, brothers Paul, Art, and sister Ida. Cecile was a fun, loving, caring person to be around. She was a true spitfire. She loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family. She had a burst of energy that would always get everyone going. After the loss of her Alex, she was blessed with the companionship of her loving Roger. They both enjoyed dancing, laughing and playing the roll of happiness which we all adored. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens in the family plot. A gathering of family and friends will follow the interment in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. The family would like to extend a heartfelt, special thank you to Roger for all his loving care and support given to Cecile and her family.
