WINNIE MOFFATT It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 25, 2011, at the age of 95 years. Winnie's memory will be forever cherished by her children: Gord (Sherratt), David (Carol), and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jaime, Paige, Cathy, Emma, Chris (Tara), Steven and Stewart. Winnie is predeceased by her husband Cliff in August 1978. Winnie was born on June 23, 1916. After completing high school, Winnie became a Psychiatric Nurse at the Selkirk Mental Hospital. It was in Selkirk that she met and married Cliff in October 1949. After their marriage, Winnie and Cliff moved to Winnipeg. Winnie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was the time spent with family. She was actively involved with Harrow United Church and community organizations such as Meals on Wheels and Agape Table. After her nursing career and part time work in retail, Winnie embarked on a successful career in real estate. She joined McKinnon and Moffatt in 1972 retiring in 1995. Winnie enjoyed her retirement years and remained active with her church, community activities, traveling and visiting with friends and family. Winnie never lost her enjoyment of a good cup of coffee and a game of cards. Winnie's love of life will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Harrow United Church, 955 Mulvey Ave. with a reception to follow. The family wishes to thank Golden Links Lodge for their care and compassion. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715
