WALTER JOHN KOZYNIAK After a long and happy life filled with love and surrounded by family who loved him with their whole hearts, Walter John Kozyniak passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Remaining to forever cherish Walter's memory are his loving wife Mildred of 51 years of marriage; three children Jeff (Adele) Kozyniak, Sharon (Nick) DeMelo, Pamela (Jerry) Kozyniak; his loving and most devoted granddaughters Nicole and Danielle DeMelo, Navayah Moose and only grandson Garrett Kozyniak. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Eugene Kozyniak; and sister Stella Kozyniak; as well as many special nieces; nephews and amazing friends who all meant so much to him. He was predeceased by his parents John and Aniela Kozyniak and his brother Mike. Dad was born and grew up in Libau, Manitoba and then moved on to the big city of Winnipeg where he met Mom, was married and started their family. He loved his grandchildren more than life itself and was so proud of them all. Dad would do anything for them at any time from chauffeuring them around the city and attending dance recitals to all their soccer games! He had a kind heart for all and a most crazy sense of humour that could always make you laugh even in his last couple days of life. With Dad's quirky sense of humour he somehow always managed to steal one's heart. In keeping with and obeying Dad's wishes there will be no formal service. A private family celebration of his life will take place at a later date. A special thanks is extended to all our friends and family whose frequent visits to the hospital meant so much to Dad. He knew how much he was loved by all. Also, thanks for the care he received at the St. Boniface Hospital 6E ward. Dad, you fought a good fight and finished the race. May you forever rest in peace. We love you!
