CECILE CHAMPAGNE (nee TARDIFF) On Thursday, October 27, 2011, at St. Boniface Hospital, our beloved mother and grandmother passed. She leaves to cherish her memory, son Dale (Chris), daughters, Bev (Dave), Doreen (Brent) and grandchildren, Stephanie, Curtis, Kim, Brittany and Ryan. She is also survived by her sisters Agnes (Ed)and Lorraine, brother Wilf, sisters-in-law Annette, Jeannine (Mel), Hugette and Glenda, and brothers-in-law Art (Jean) and Edouard. Cecile was predeceased by her beloved husband Andy, parents Elie and Elizabeth Tardiff, sister Dorothy and brothers Denis, Dollard and Roland. She will be remembered dearly for her never ending love and devotion to her husband Andy, children and grandchildren and her courage in the face of illness. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. with Father Ron Leger presiding. Donations may be made in Cecile's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. So many fond memories! Growing up on Prosper Street. Spending summers at Lee River. Bingo and Church. Auntie is the one who shortened my nickname from "The B" to "B"; a name that I still go by today. An amazing woman who influenced my life. A woman with such inner strength and fortitude to endure. A dear friend who was always there to listen. Forever loved and sadly missed.
