WALTER WARRENCHUK On Wednesday, October 26, 2011, Walter died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 89 years. Left to forever cherish Walter's memory are his sons, Ron, Brian, Wayne; daughter-in-law Darlene; grandsons Richard, Ryan; brothers Peter, Clarence (Ethel); as well as numerous other family members. He was predeceased by his mother Christine; father Kiprian; wife Anne; brothers Nicklaus, John, and daughter-in-law Bonnie. Walter was born July 12, 1922 in East Selkirk, MB. He spent his youth on the farm and later worked for his brother Peter as a floor refinisher. Dad married Anne (Onishko) in June 1953 and enjoyed 47 years of marriage. He enjoyed RVing, trips to Las Vegas and watching sports. A private family Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard. Interment will follow in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for their kind care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
