ROBERT EDWARD BRELAND (NUM) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Breland, on October 7, 2011 at the Thunder Bay Hospital with his family and friends by his side. Robert was born in Eriksdale, MB. on April 5, 1958. He grew up in Chatfield and later moved to Poplarfield with his family. He then moved to Thunder Bay, ON in 1980 and worked at the Bowater mill for 26 years. Rob's smile and quirky sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rob was well known for his love of country music and enjoyed cooking a good meal. He was happiest when spending time with his family and friends, whether he was fishing or sharing a good laugh. Robert was predeceased by his father Rene (Duke) in 2003. He is survived by his daughter Deanna of Calgary, AB, mother Cecile of Poplarfield, MB, sister Linda (John) of Kenora, ON brother David (Lorna) of Fisher Branch MB. and nieces and nephews. Also survived by aunts, one uncle and numerous cousins. And special friends Warren, Shirley and Keelan Hayes of Thunder Bay, ON. Funeral service will held at the Eriksdale Community Center, Eriksdale, MB on Saturday November 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., with Father Michel Nault officiating. Interment to follow at Abbeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
