MARY TERECK On October 16, 2011, Mary Tereck, of McCreary, Manitoba entered into rest at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her son Richard (Joan) and daughter Valerie (Barrie); five grandsons, Brad (Melissa), Jeff (Tannis), Garey (Shauna), Layne (Jenn), and Blair (Marni), and five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlee-Jo, Sadie, Michael, and Lea. Also surviving are two sisters Aileen and Doreen as well as four brothers Walter, Peter, Ernie and Joey. Mary was predeceased by her husband Fred in 2003, her sisters Olga, Katie, Annie, Effie, and brothers, Henry, Fred, and John. Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Nativity Roman Catholic Church in McCreary, Manitoba with Fr. Leo Fernandes as celebrant. Active pallbearers were Mary's grandsons Brad Tereck, Jeff Tereck, Garey Tereck, Layne Maciura, Blair Maciura and nephew Jon Tereck. Soloist was Mary's niece Jolene Salyn, other musical selections by Lucien Divers. Interment was at the McCreary Catholic Cemetery followed by lunch at the McCreary Community Centre. A very special thank you to Peter, Ernie (Shirley), Aileen, Joey (Karen) and Doreen (Ron) for being at her side to the very end. Donation's in Mary's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
